The Compsognathus: Dinosaur Horde Class

Tactical Summary: This is the horde class, you control a single Compsognathus which is followed by a group of 15-20 additional Compys. If your particular Compy is killed, you automatically take control of another one in the group. The Compy minions have their own special behavior system with three settings that you can choose from: Defensive, Passive, and Aggressive.

Pros:
• Very short, can move undetected behind cover
• A challenge for humans to target and eliminate the whole horde
• Provides a great distraction

Cons:
• Low health
• Weak attacks unless in large numbers

Climb and Bite: The Compy jumps onto a mercenary and begins to tear into his flesh. This attack will last for a brief duration before the compy falls off, or is knocked off.

Compy Recharge: Allows you to call for additional Compys to join your horde. (2 minute cool down)

*This class is a work in progress. Any and all aspects are subject to change.
**This concludes the playable dinos. "Charger Class" was under consideration, but did not make the cut; apologies to the Trike/Pachy/Kapro fans.

NOOOOOO! Ah well, suppose there's always DLC...

Although, I kinda dig how there's at least SOME feathers on the Compies. But, do they not have teeth?

Same reaction. However, I think the Horde class adds a whole new play base to the game.

BTW: When are these going on the "About" Page. We've had around 3 or 4 announced in just a couple weeks.

That model is still a Work in Progress. Expect changes...probably including teeth.

The About page has not been updated in ages, because the old web admin left the project. However, we now have someone new on board, and updating the pages is on his list of things to do. I'll be working with him to ensure all the right content.

Alright, cool, cool. Some more feathers and teeth would be my main suggestions.

wow only 2 skills?? this better be a good class ^^

nonetheless, a sort of 'call for reinforcement' skill really is a great idea.. so the question now is... how do the humans kill the leader?? pure luck?

Try with a minigun or a grenade: considering that the player will respawn immediately in another dino I guess will be more importan kill the bigger number possible of compies and not only the leader.

Nice idea for a playable class anyway... sounds a bit like the Overlord with his Minions xD
