The Pathfinder: Human Utility Class

The mystery finally revealed, the Pathfinder is a well rounded utility class and an invaluable member of the human team, with some unique traits.

Tactical Summary: The Pathfinder is the heart of a squad on the move. His arsenal is best used supporting his team, whether its dropping a flare to distract a T-Rex, healing a wounded teammate, or scouting for approaching dinosaurs with his trusty canine sidekick. He generally has a perk for every situation, his only downfall is his shotgun with limited effectivness, which still leaves him as an excellent support class.

Pros:
• Can Heal Teammates
• Flares blind and confuse dinos
• Dog companion detects approaching dinosaurs

Cons:
• shotgun with limited range and rate of fire.

Shotgun: A close quarters pump action shotgun.

Grenade: An explosive device which sends shrapnel flying in all directions upon detonation.

Flare: A thrown device which can blind or distract certain dinos.

Dog: Your trusty AI-driven companion will react to approaching dinosaurs and alert you to their presence. Keep your furry friend safe from harm!

a flare distracting a t rex sounds familiar . its a very cool class.

You get to have a dog? Sweet. Is that a new concept, or are the images still in development/donators only?

That development is fairly new, it replaces an earlier idea. Being recent, there are no images of the dog ready to be shown to anyone yet.

Cool, this looks like a class I'd like to play as.

Originally under consideration was a Motion Tracker, but it is felt that such specific information would be unfair to the dinosaurs, removing all chance of stealth and surprise for them. The Dog, however, lets you know when something is near, but without giving an exact location.

Now that's a VERY cool method of solving that problem, and one that I would say fits into the tone of the game very well. Can the dog fight at all? And, out of sheer curiosity, what breed is it?

So the dinosaurs will be able to kill the dog? I can already see myself targeting it. xD

Why is a shotgun a bad thing, i've been hoping for one to be present. I've always wanted a Raptor to charge me, and steal a kill from him with a blast from a trusty shotgun. Best weapon, EVER!
